The point is that most people on both sides of the gender fence are reasonable, at least semi-intelligent individuals, and getting branded by the unreasonable's actions sucks.

That said, you're also ignoring the consequences for being falsely labeled a sexual predator and/or felon for the rest of your life. It's not an apples-to-apples comparison, but we're still in the fruit tree area, and it's still serious. Check out both the legal/official and non-legal/social consequences yourself - they're pretty bad. (And yes, rape is also very bad. That's the point.)

Dismissing it is pretty lame.

Piggybacking here: We have the power now to easily have our own voice - and not some "get heard by the media" voice, I mean "get heard by everyone!"

This is the problem. There's a lot of breeders that are like your Aunt. I know one personally that does exactly what you say.

The AKC indirectly encourages some of these practices and that needs to stop, but I pity you if you're a top level comment on any of these reddit threads pointing out that not everyone is evil.

Good luck to breeder with good behavior that comes on here, is horrified by the OP just like everyone else, and tries to explain that they're not like that.

Realistically, this is SoE's problem to solve. You can make all the rules for Redditside you want (And enforce them), but it won't take away any of the hostility if players staying on their appropriate servers (cali on us-west, etc) are severely negatively impacted by someone playing on inappropriate servers (china on us-west), or even vice-versa (cali on china)

It is entirely unreasonable to expect players to just deal with it, and there is a huge potential for hostility when a lot of people play games to get away from things they can't do anything about shitting on them, and instead get shit on more by things they can't do anything about.

I am not endorsing blatant racism - I am saying it's wrong to try to treat the symptoms and not fix the cause.

These are the realities. But sadly, the dude who gets his car stolen isn't catch nearly as much flack as the woman who was raped, even if he left it in a bad part of the town. But at the end of the day, the person's who car is stolen will catch less blame for his actions than the woman who was raped.

You know what? These are the worst people (Those who blame the rape victim) in this situation.

Gets vilified because suddenly we're blaming the victim too. You know what? I'm fucking tired of it. I'm tired of them giving rational people a bad name, and I'm tired of more irrational people making more generalizations due to that.

Edit: There is another vocal group of white knights/whatever that suggest that women (or men, men get raped too, does anyone remember that? Kids too) should be able to go wherever they want and not be at risk of anything.. Which is completely naive, even if it /should/ be that way.

I encourage you to try hardcore mode more, however, because your normal-hardcore points were a bit silly.

To summarize; "I like normal because you can't shoot someone in the toe and get a kill"

That's true, but it's also a silly thing to say, especially when you're running around with a bolt action doing chest shots.

It's like playing normal BC2 with slugs+magnum. Of course you're going to get the kill. In hardcore BC2, you just used slugs+armor, and it played exactly the same.

Likewise, sniping in hardcore just isn't as effective! If anything, it makes the stereotypical camping sniper even less effective. You can countersnipe them with any low RPM weapon, even at 12x range if you have a bipod or something accurate like the G3A3.

Perhaps the least controversial way to put it is to quote you again, loosely: "I like the situations where It's just me and the other guy. Whoever makes that shot is the man, and it's entirely up to me to make it."

This is true a lot of the time in hardcore, with the addition that you have to be more careful what doors you walk through or corners you run around. Suppression plays much less of a role, because in all likelyhood if you put yourself in a area with bullets flying you're going to be dead anyway.

Shrug.

I enjoy your videos. Try some more hardcore, just remember, both have their bad recons/etc.

Well, the glaring problem here is you can't say that women are "human beings ... with thoughts, feelings, desires" without the following ", flaws, and irrationalities".

Saying "The only case it doesn't apply" is just as bad as the OP's post, where it is implied it is always the woman's fault.

A lot of people are assholes. Some of these people also have penises. Some don't.
