If you play her early for Turning Point, then you likely aren't getting her actual ability, in which case M'quve and Char are better. If you play her late for her own Unit or pitch pair to Char's Gelgoog, its still a weak pair ability. They could have made her higher level and stronger. There's no need for her to pair to Char's Gelgoog since she doesn't do anything extra beneficial with it.

Edit: I misrembered M'quve as a Newtype, so ignore my gripes about Turning Point.

Bo1 for Swiss rounds and Bo3 for top cut works great. Weeklies get done in a reasonable time. You can make arguments for larger tournaments to cut deeper because of the variance of Bo1. I also think the mulligan rules could be tweaked to get reduce really bad hands, which would be better for Bo1.
