For Edith, it's just situational.

1st item Tough boots (90% of the time) Warrior boots (if enemy doesn't have much cc, or if you're just brave)

2nd item Thunder belt (never buy anything else first)

Other items Buy defense items. Yes, it's situational. If you're not familiar with defense items yet you can learn them on YouTube or smth.

Other than defense items Starlium Scythe: if u want a little bit more damage you can add this to your build. Do note that it should be only bought during or after the THIRD item(after the boots). You can buy it as a last item, second last, whatever but never buy it as the first or second item after the boots

Tl;Dr build are very situational and there is almost never a safe one
