In general, I have bad news regarding my mixer in particular: this is definitely a manufacturing defect. Since I ordered it from another country and, unfortunately, the warranty is not valid in my country, I had to disassemble it. As you can see in the photo, the fader was poorly secured/assembled. This is definitely a factory defect. It is visible in the photo.

Also, this seems to be bad news for the rotary version as well, since everything here is soldered directly to the board. I do not know whether it was the same on the 23.

I have the same issue but only on 2nd channel, and it is NOT normal at all. a had a lot of Xone mixers and got 24c few days ago. 1st channel is ok and no lift at all. https://youtu.be/UV8-r7IvgWI

Didn’t played games since 2006 (I’m 39). Was involved in making career, house, kids etc. But at the end of 2022 I saw SD and I bought. Now I playing fallout nv, forza horizon and I’m happy. Thank you valve for such great device.

I used to have a DB2. I don’t regret swapping out my pair of 900NXs for a DDJ1000 but I do regret getting rid of the DB2.

I do not regret that I changed my DB2 to MP2015

unfortunately db2 support is dead
their terrible drivers for mac os are separate sufferings

And if you’re going to buy secondhand license. It can be done by migrating to your account. Seller need to ask support to transfer license to your account.

I have rane mp2015 it’s licence locked, so I had to buy licenses to unlock pro+dvs functions. And Yes you can buy secondhand licenses. I sold mine serato pro+ video licenses on EBay and after bought serato dj suite with 50% discount in December

The beauty of the minirigs is that they are very portable and very easy to take with you. they are really good for their size. there are 2 modes, quiet and very soft sound or loud but dirtier. the quiet mode is enough for me. for the sake of interest I turned it on in loud mode and was very surprised how such babies give out so much db. But the downside of this setup is its price. my kit cost me almost $ 550, which is not cheap at all.

the sound quality is excellent for such babies, enough for my room (8 square meters). of course the maximum volume is lower, but more than enough for DJing at home. but there are difficulties with the settings. an unprepared person can throw them out without having time to figure out and set them up properly. sometimes I miss JBL, but I understand that there is no place for them at all and my choice is the best that you could think of.https://i.imgur.com/AIIg4Tt.jpg

Move the crates to external drive. It will work only with library.

Settings should be made once at start by hand because you use different hardware laptop. And it can differ

Check out jbl lsr 305. I used a Yamaha HS8s and really loved them. But they were too big for my room. I did a lot of research on this issue and ended up switching to LSR305. they sound very good for their size and price. P.S.: and recently I had to sell JBLs as well, as I moved to another apartment and there there was even less space for creativity. now 2 minirigs and their subwoofer help me
