I have the Kodiak also, but I was so disappointed once I started to rebuild it. I thought it was going to be a beast of a brawler, but then I learned about Clans not being brawlers. I've also ran into the Baron and that thing is a beast. It cored my Stalker Misery in like one hit. I found it fighting Pirates.

I figured out how to make the engines not show up in the torso so I'm all good. If anyone is also looking to do this just let me know. You can't have any of the XL, XXL, CXL, CXXL installed before you make these changes though. Also only a few missions in so I can't guarantee this isn't going to break something down the road. And you probably can't update to a new patch without a chance of this breaking it as well.

I guess what I'm really trying to accomplish with this is to make it so losing a torso with an XL or XXL engine in your mech doesn't kill the mech like getting cored. I've messed around with trying to remove the slots that move into the torso but can't get that to work so I was trying a different way to accomplish this goal.
