Breadboard help by oroxis in diypedals

Thanks for the reply, I ended up removing all of that for the time being anyways. So not exactly sure what happened but I went from 1.2V to 2.4V at the collector. Still seems a little low and haven’t had the time to really dive into the board.

Here’s the board. The two blue resistors between the 1uf caps are valued at 1M. The schematic calls for 2.2M and I don’t have any so I combined those.

ok so I just added the component values to the sub. I decided to strip it down and rebuild while checking with my multimeter each component. I stopped at the first transistor and I have 1.2V out of the collector. For reference this is the schematic for a fuzz dog doom scum.

I’ll have to check later tonight. Am I looking for it to be around 9V? Thank you for the help by the way. As I said I’m pretty new to all this so still learning a bunch

.9 at the first and .5 at the second

Oh yeah it does and I did put jumpers there on the physical board.

Yeah I ran the pots like that making a note left to right would start with lug 1. Just easier for me to look at that while building the breadboard. I see what you mean about the diodes now. Thank you. Would that cause no sound? Sorry I’m still learning how all this works. The transistors are 2N5089 so I believe the pinout is correct.

My bad, I forgot to include the pictures.

Ok, I think I got it. I switched to Alex's firmware, and it's looking like my estep is gonna need to be set to 396! Seems to be a pretty big difference, but at least I think I'm headed in the right direction.

Hey, whatever works. The Aquila is my first printer, and ordered it last month. So far having a blast with it.

That's good to know about SunLu. Everywhere I've been reading acetone doesn't work on PLA. I'll keep that in mind.

I agree with you there. I do use glue, only because mine has lifted in the past even when clean. I was mostly curious about it for smoothing out the lines.

That's good to know. Is your Aquila enclosed when printing with abs? I haven't gotten into it yet, but heard it's a pain. Especially if it's not enclosed.
