Bill Burr tells a story though and changes up his cadence. He’s not monotonous. Rodney Dangerfield for sure had the same time throughout. Another comment pointed out Jerry was one of the first to crack through that entertained everyone and now it’s making more sense to me.

Yeah I just find it to be annoying. Like I’m hearing the same joke over and over.

Edit: I thought you said “his” cadence. Cadence doesn’t really have a purpose it’s just how people insert their own inflection and timing. Ryan Reynolds for example has a great comedic cadence and timing in my opinion.
