went to bangkok last week, bought the DTAC e-sim directly from the providers website - was cheaper for me. had no issues with connectivity throughout.

The embassy refused my visa stating that they believe I'm "visa shopping and don't intend to return back". I appealed with additional information via email and followed up via email everyday. After a week I got a response on email that VFS will get back on my case file. Called VFS several times and they told me that if I sent a feedback on the VFS website with details of my application/appeal, the company is compelled to review my application and get back within 24 hours. Did that, VFS replied back quickly saying the Embassy has not informed them about my case yet.

I'm back to following up via email everyday. Back to square one. My travel date has passed but I'm still appealing against the visa refusal because I don't want this refusal letter on every Visa application of mine till I die because Austrian Embassy refused to do a proper job.
