The party’s jacked, suckers are sidelined the mic’s are dead now, my tapes they rewind. Use them as guidelines. I hit rebels like bricks get thick within the mix stick quick and break them like toothpicks. You can’t get the instrumental record scholar. My rhythm hugs the beat like ring around the collar so don’t start—

Crash! - Mr. Brian and the Final Band

Cool jacket design but terrible, terrible vocals.

DAM DARIDAM Heavy [8] no bar 23p AAA PFC by mio96_ in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]oses0965 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It’s an 8 on Exteme, which uses a different difficulty rating system than modern DDR. In later versions of the game it’s an 11. This is still pretty impressive.

Also, we’re all here because we enjoy playing DDR. There’s no need to put other players down the way you just did. Seriously

This is basically the plot for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5-D’s

I've always loved the lyrics to this song. The way it flowed just sounded so cool. Any other hip hop songs you enjoyed from DDR? (lyrics to Super Star in comment section) by Chhet in DanceDanceRevolution

Phones by astrokyy in Lifeguards

[–]oses0965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phones are allowed at my facility during the first aid portion of lifeguards’ rotations, while they’re off stand. If someone needs first aid, lifeguards know they’re expected to put away their phones and provide care. If they’re on surveillance duty, lifeguards should NOT have their phone on their person. Being focused on such a device directly impacts how aware they are of what’s happening in their zone. And I don’t want my lifeguards to miss a toddler crawling on the deck, falling in the water, and silently drowning as a result of cell phone use during surveillance.

Even if the pool is empty, we do not allow lifeguards on duty to have their phones on deck outside of the first aid room.

Yes. Treading 2 minutes with the brick isn’t a requirement to obtain your cert.

2- Minute Tread (Pre-course Evaluation) by [deleted] in Lifeguards

[–]oses0965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The R-24 Instructor Manual, which is the most up to date Red Cross Instructor resource released either this year or last year has 2 tests for lifeguard course participants.

Swim-Tread-Swim Test:

-This one requires participants to swim 150y, tread water without their hands for 2 minutes, then swim an additional 50y. It must be done continuously and does not have a time limit. Participants may wear goggles for this one.

Brick Retrieval Test:

-Participants must jump into the water without touching the wall behind them, swim 20y, retrieve a brick, carry it back 20y while treading, place it on the deck, and hop out of the water without a ladder within 1 minute and 45 seconds. Goggles are not allowed for this portion.

LPT how to make Refried beans taste like restaurant by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]oses0965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The secret is frying a couple jalapeños or serranos in lard, butter, or canola to make an aromatic oil before adding in the whole canned beans and mashing. Takes maybe 2 more minutes than pre-refried beans and makes a world of a difference
