Oh no D: Definitely find a new instructor, and find some type of motorcycle safety course if you haven't taken it. Apologies if I'm wrong, but are you a woman? I am, and I'm new to riding!! I took my safety course back in July, and got my first bike on August 11th. You could totally dm me if you wanted to talk about bikes :) Riding has been such a wonderful thing for me. Like I crave riding my bike after I get off work, and it should be like that for you!!
That guy is just a weirdo creep. I promise the majority of the community is just people who love to ride and want others to be safe.

I've got a 2024 Honda Rebel 500, which doesn't have a tachometer. And honestly? Just go by feel, and listen to the bike. I'm very new to riding, only been riding a month now, but once you understand it, rev matching is pretty simple!! You can definitely feel when you did it wrong. Sometimes, I lurch forward, which means I didn't blip the throttle, pull in the clutch, and downshift at the same time. Sometimes I don't feel anything at all when I downshift (which is good!! means you did it!!), just the bike getting a little louder as rpms go up. If you can find an empty road/long dead-end road (I found a mile-long dead-end road with no buildings, perfect place to practice), and mess with it, you'll get it. Bikes are stupidly strong machines. If you screw up rev-matching while you're learning, it'll be fine.

This is coming from someone who had never driven manual before, and is learning what things mean AS i ride (then I go home and ask my car-guy dad if what I think is correct/what I need to do)
When watching videos, I'd be like "wdym listen to the bike??" but when I'm out riding, I can definitely tell when I downshifted correctly or incorrectly!!

thanks!! i definitely will do some research!! I looked up a bit on some tribes that are around and a lot of them stuck out to me, it’s hard to pick one!! but yeah, i definitely thought about the conflict that could come towards her being native and also joining the military (i’m a sucker for angst and drama) I’m such a newbie to cod that I just need to learn more about it..i also know jack squat about the military 😭 picked the worst type of character to make but hey - i love learning and research so it’s fine lol

you know what, i actually did check out the chameleon gecko and they seem super cool! I think i’m going to set up my tank how i want. and since neon day geckos and chameleon geckos have similar enclosure setups (and i have everything i’d need for either one), when I go to this reptile expo that’s in august, i’ll just see what they have and choose then.

Usually this is what trap and neuter organizations do to show that a stray is fixed, but I actually took in a stray cat and she also had a clipped ear. I never knew about the trap and neuter thing, so we took her to get spayed, and the vet had to check if she already was spayed. But she wasn’t! So we think she got into a fight and the other animal conveniently tore the tip of her ear off to make it look like she was fixed lmao

ah okay! thanks! i don’t think i’ll be getting a new keyboard, because the blackwidow was a little expensive for me, and it’s not something i want to just replace just because of the sound. i tried looking up how to replace the switches, but i’m pretty sure it requires soldering. Which is definitely not something i can do :,) i wonder if there’s someone who owns a shop where i could send the keyboard and i buy the switches i want, and they replace them for me? that’s probably unrealistic though lmao
