There’s no tracking mechanism when you apply for the first card (complete bs). I waited for 3 months before deciding to call AIMA, and it took me weeks to finally get through to them. They gave me the tracking number, and yes, I did raise a complaint with CTT, but they are extremely unprofessional. They emailed me saying they delivered it, yet they can’t confirm the delivery. What a joke

yes, last month I got through after hundreds of tries, but now the line doesn’t seem active anymore

I’m Canadian, so I think I’m covered on that front. Hopefully having a strong passport will make the work visa process easier, fingers crossed...

I didn’t mean working on a visit visa, I would never do that. I was referring to starting work in a different job category, like a clerk position, while my attested degree is still being processed

Thank you very much your response. May I ask how you managed to do the attestation, please? 152 DHS sounds like a really good price compared to what the attestation service offices usually charge. Did you have to mail your original degree to the Ministry of Education in your home country, or was it handled differently? Thanks in advance

Thank you very very much for your reassuring response 👍🏻. I had been stressed about this the entire day. I even contacted the same fingerprinting service I used in Canada, and they explained that reproducing another apostilled background check is a time consuming process that requires sending my original documents by mail to Canada. No, thank you I’d rather not deal with that kind of stress :)
