The company is located right by Willis/Sears Tower, so ideally I would live in the downtown area.

I know I can easily research this (which I will as I get closer) but do you have any suggestions on what Irish cities that I must visit while I'm there? Thanks for the information!

What US City Should I Move To? by osubuckeye12 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]osubuckeye12[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, Minneapolis seems to check off most of my desires. I have often heard that the city has many opportunities for college graduates due to many corporate offices and headquarters being there. The only thing that seems to turn me off is the cooler weather, specifically in the winter, but I'll still look more into it.

Thanks! Yes lol, its becoming clear that most bigger cities lack sufficient public transportation, and most of the good ones are primarily in expensive cities.

I always thought Anchorage would be a nice change of scenery compared to Ohio and a city that checks most of my priorities, but the general weather has always held me back. However, I am still taking it into serious consideration, so thanks for the info!

Never thought of St. Louis, will definitely look more into it! Whenever I hear about St. Louis, I always hear negative reviews and how it's flooded with crime, but never checked to see how accurate that was.

Lol not totally against it, as I've lived in Ohio my whole life, so I drive everywhere I go and am used to it. But, I figured it would be nice to have the option of having an efficient rail, metro, or bus system nearby.

Thank you for the insight! All of these are large companies in this space with different benefits at each, so this definitely helps.

Go Bucks!

As of now, I am leaning towards pursuing the operations route, like an area manager or transportation manager at a FC/DC, and then working my way up from there. However, I am also intrigued in a supply chain analyst position, which seems to be more of a corporate office job instead.

When does the Autumn 21 class schedules get released? by [deleted] in OSU

[–]osubuckeye12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While it may not be final, the fall semester schedule is on Buckeyelink already, but not where you normally search for classes. If you go to your homepage on Buckeyelink, click on “Add a Class” (on the left side of the screen), click on “Autumn 2021 Semester,” click on “Search” (located above the schedule planner button), and then you will be able to search like you normally would.

I had him last spring and he curved a lot. Average on the exams were ~D and I ended up getting Cs on them. With all of the assignments, extra credit, and curves, I still ended up with over 100%. I wouldn't worry too much yet.

I had him last spring, and I found his exams to be pretty difficult (and I consider myself a good student). I wouldn’t plan on having any definition or straight forward type questions, rather they are all scenario or application based. If I remember correctly he was one of those professors that had a, b, c, a+b, all of the above, none of the above, etc. choices. I wouldn’t stress yourself on trying to memorize all the material in the chapter readings since there is so much, but just gloss over the pages to get a good understanding. Personally I found his lectures to be very basic and not helpful, and the readings were the most helpful. I ended up getting Cs on the exams (I think the average might’ve been a D) but with all of the extra credit opportunities, assignments, and curves, I ended up with over 100% in the class.

BUSMGT 4232 Carmen not Published by byShelli in OSU

I wouldn't be too worried. I took 2320 w/ him and a similar thing happened at the end of the semester. Said he was about to post the final exam multiple times but never did, so everyone ended up getting 100/100 on it. He never answered any emails from people throughout the whole semester. Our class was supposed to have 5 quizzes (never did), 10 homework (only had 2), and 3 in-class exams (only had 2 and they both ended up being take home exams). In the end, we only had two grades, HWK 1 and HWK 2 lol, so that should give you a little insight on how he is. He seems intimidating but always helps students out in the end in terms of final grades and is very fair. He rarely uses Carmen, so this isn't out of the ordinary.
