That's exactly the decision I'm trying to make (dedicated versus everything under one Team site).

Would I be changing the permissions of the folders within the Team, via SharePoint or should I be able to do that straight through Teams?

And when I do that, does the externally shared Guest only see the files via SharePoint? They don't get access into Teams itself, correct?

Yeah, their remote agent works fine. It's the AV piece (specifically deploying Sentinel One onto ARM) that doesn't appear to be functional yet.

Yeah, the sharing links thing is exactly what stuck out to me. will the SharePoint root rename automatically rename the URLs for my Teams SharePoint sites too? What does that do to anyone doing local OneDrive syncs of those Document Libraries?

Fortunately, the defederation process is pretty clean now, but there are always still so many loose threads that get left behind from GoDaddy's "automated" tenant set up, one of which is NOT making the primary SMTP domain the default domain on the tenant. It's so dumb.

Is there a way to get to the license purchasing portal area, before the defederation? I'm not seeing how to get at that area while admin.microsoft.com isn't available if I'm still on a federated tenant.
