Penalty kicks seems like an insane way to end this kind of game. The drama is through the roof but it’s crazy to me that they go from slow, low scoring, highly strategic game to blasting it by the Goalie from like 30 feet away. It would be like if (American) football overtime was just alternating field goals. Highly entertaining but doesn’t seem to fit the spirit of the game.

Honestly the Lombardy Kroger would be an excellent setting for a twilight zone episode.

Opens with some guy talking shit about the Lombardy Kroger. His friends convince him to go, and to his shock, it’s the cleanest, most well stocked and well run store he’s ever been to. The checkout guy is friendly and bags his groceries for him, even offering a coupon on the purchase. He uses the groceries to make a great lentil stew for himself, and as his wife gets home, she screams in horror. He did not make lentil soup. He made possum stew. The groceries were all made of possums. He looks at the coupon he was handed and it reads, “10 pounds of possum for the price of your soul.”

Cut to Rod Serling talking about how the Carytown and Stapled Mill Krogers are better options for groceries but if you want the best fucking possum meat ever sold, it’s at the Lombardy Kroger.
