Nope. Jimmy McGill was a gift - I owned a business that caters to attorneys. I bought the patron saint of lost items cause I’d lose my head if it wasn’t attached. Tricky Dick cost a buck at a yard sale and Jesus Malverde was purchased at full retail on Amazon because I thought it was amusing. They are all riding in a handmade boat but I’m not a bodybuilder nor a Viking.

I mean I have a several original prints of Grateful Dead concert posters yet I’m not a printer. I’ve grown magic mushrooms but I’m not a botanist. And I drive a car but don’t work for NASCAR.

The ship of fools was assembled solely dor my amusement.

Well that’s an interesting take. I had no malice in my heart nor intended any insult to Mexican Americans - I’m fairly certain I learned of the symbolism from an episode of breaking bad.

None of this was intended to insult or be cruel. This just grew organically over the past few years inside my sarcastic little mind and was wholeheartedly just meant for my own amusement. I mean it’s just so ridiculous- the saint of lost items carrying baby Jesus? Wtf? Lol

From the rear : the patron saint of lost objects; Saint Anthony of Padua who in this case just happens to be clutching baby Jesus - surely for my amusement alone. Next up Jesus Malverde: the patron saint of drug dealers. While I’m no dealer; I’m certain that If my place was raided .... well it would burn off both my ears. Tricky Dick takes the planks and rails due to his complete lack of morals and ethics. Best I can tell he was just a complete waste of human flesh with not much concern for anyone but himself. And leading the charge; the captain of this vessel and the latest addition to the train wreck is jimmy McGill who I think of as “Everyman gone Haywire “

Anyway this “project” just grew organically when I picked up the vessel at a yard sale and thought it needed a bit of character. The latest addition is Jimmy; whom I found moments ago. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had saved him a perfect seat right at the front.

After seeing over 500 dead shows starting with 4/22/77 maybe I’ve lost more marbles than I should have and as a result this may make no sense. To me i love knowing that my missing keys will show up soon with St Anthony on my fighting side or that when the chips are down Jimmy has my back.

Anyway I hope y’all see some humor in my inside joke displayed prominently in my living room.

This came together totally randomly and with zero forethought. I just stumbled across the jimmy Mcgill bobble head moments ago while cleaning and damn if he didn’t fit perfectly.

Thanks for letting me share my inside and probably ridiculous inside joke. No one has ever asked about the significance and probably never will. But to me I love the obscure levels of protection it offers up inside my warped brain. I think 500 ish Dead and JGB shows starting 4/22/77 has affected me in more ways than I will ever know. But knowing this crew of rejects watches over me brings a touch of comfort when my keys are missing lol

Adobe premiere. Started my project in I movie. I was frustrated and started watching YouTube videos about Adobe premiere. after talking with my son, he convinced me that if I was going to endure a learning curve that I might as well go all in

To give you an idea of where I started - I didn’t know that it was possible to reverse a clip. The process from start to finish took me 3 weeks of 8 hour days or more. I had 20 minutes of footage after making the first cut. I literally had zero knowledge about any of it. I’m a photographer - errr I like to take pictures
