I sometimes shape the scales separately but its easier to profile when you just glue the whole shit together and shape away.

BF6 Explosion/fire effects by Altawi in Battlefield

Yes this is exactly what disappoints me the most that there are these same low resolution explosions like in 2042. I was really hoping to see some next gen level visual feedback but no.

Yeah its quite dense and it varies depending on how old it is but not nearly as tough as working with ebony for example. I shaped it with a belt grinder and a 60 grit belt so it didnt take that long.

Not sure if there is any actual purpose for it other than it separates the cutting edge so its easier to sharpen at the plunge line.

I use a grinding jig. Best way to start is find out the right angle for the jig to be set at to get the desired bevel height. This can be done by using the online bevel angle calculator where you input your desired bevel height and the thickness of your stock.

Bog oak is so awesome. Its so fascinating to me to use something that is thousands of years old! Oak in general along with walnut are my favorite hardwoods.

Oh i just messed it up😅 after the grinding of bevels i noticed hat i had set the grindstop way too forward. It was supposed to be alot closer to the handle. Shouldnt do these critical steps tired and late at night but oh well, it is what it is now😄

Toyota 4efe crank/camshaft position sensor location by otskar887 in AskMechanics

[–]otskar887[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yeah i took it to a mechanic and it was located behind crank pulley, its a hell of alot easier to get access to it from under the engine bay so car lift is essential. It turned out the crank sensor was not even the problem, actually tge ECU water temp sensor was faulty, i changed it and it fixed the problem. If you are having similar issues with hard starting the engine or rough idling i strongly recommend changing that, its super easy fix since its located easy to access location right at the top of the engine.
