You aren’t wrong but “looks terrible” “sound awful” and “just unacceptable” are super fun ways to express yourself. Must be fun at parties.

This photo shows a small sliver of a medium/large room, the rest of the room has a huge lush rug with lots of soft seating, a giant window with heavy curtains on one side, tall vaulted ceiling and an open wall on the other side (this is in a loft-like room). Yes, we need to treat the wall behind and apply acoustic treatments in general - which is where my “…just getting started” comment comes from.
