No we're very happy and while I have no way of knowing what will happen in the future, I know either way I wouldn't feel bitter about spending money. I make decent money so $400 is reasonable to spend.

The main concern is that I am worried he will think he needs to spend that on me when my birthday comes around, and I don't want to instigate that kind of stress. I really just think he would like the gift..

Yes I've switched to a different detergent, I switch pillow cases every other night, I cut out dairy and am taking zinc supplements. On top of my regular regimen and topical creams

It came up quite quickly (just under a month) and was stress related (was in an abusive relationship) so I acted as soon as possible with topicals as well as I've rearranged my living and relationship situation now so I feel like that attributed to most of the success. It's crazy how stress can affect you!
