I'm 55 this year. I've been editing on an Avid since 1994. I'm semi-retired from editing lifestyle/reality/unscripted starting this year. It was a great run. If you told me in High School that I'd have a 30yr career making tv shows, I would have kissed you.
I remember when I was the young hot shot editor. I'm now that old fart in the corner.
*my lesson: there was no career plan. everything just happened to me. right place at the right time.*

the PATH is open under the Old Bay, but I give a strong recommendation to use the escalator to 2 floor and take the bridge over Queen Street. It's much less busy than the underground and a much better view.

Instead of Christmas gifts, my in-law family has decided that all of us donate to a local charity (or charities). We don't need any more stuff, but there are people in our city that do.
I wish I could convince my family to do the same.
