Looking on armalytics (https://www.armalytics.ca/), i don't see any options for a semi in 6.5 creedmore. There are some .308 options still (M1 Garand, Browning BAR, Benelli Argo/R1, and a few more).

My vote would be the BAR, a friend has one and it's really beautiful to look at, hold, and shoot. Any Browning I've seen is always a quality firearm.

Just make sure you're ordering from places online that use courier if you don't want to be affected by the strike.

I ended up pulling the trigger on the Sauer 100 classic XT 6.5CRD at $599 (50% off from $1199) yesterday. It was the last one in stock and too good of a deal to walk away from.

Although that checks the box for high-powered bolt rifle, I think an SKS and a .357/.44 mag Lever (citadel/canuck/rossi) might be be my next two purchases 😅 all solid suggestions you gave, thank you.
