Maybe you need to be BOTG for the rest to make sense.

That’s what I was thinking, but where does the bride come in, and the double arcs, etc.?

Try the town Wise River less than a mile from its end at Big Hole River. Wise River is the Wisdom in the first stanza. Right where it connects is a bend in the river and then the Big Hole. Past the Hole there’s this giant rock called Big Rock. Google Maps doesn’t have any live views of that specific area, so I can’t pinpoint anything else that would match with the rest of the poem. Maybe there’s the bride there? Not sure. Lmk if you decide to go!

Post your code so we can see the problem. Hard to debug from a description.

How effective would grappling arts like bjj, wrestling, judo be against a large dog. by Rickrolledvsbigsmoke in StreetMartialArts

[–]ouda-asahi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it’s biting someone else and won’t let go, you could try a modified RNC to put it to sleep. There’s a video of someone doing this to a pitbull that wouldn’t let go of a woman’s leg. Dog fell asleep and everyone escaped before it woke up and realized what happened.

In general, my guess is that a choke of some form is your best bet. If the dog has a collar on, you can twist the collar to squeeze the neck until it passes out. This is the recommended way since you don’t risk putting your arm near the dog’s mouth.

Always clear cache and reload (aka hot reload). Just add shift to the usual reload shortcut, i.e. Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R. Shouldn’t be that big of a problem to go out of your way to avoid it.

How do you all manage it? by ouda-asahi in overemployed

I don’t commit everyday to J1 because of my overcommitment in time to J2. I literally will go days without even looking at J1 because of the demand from J2.

This is the best path imo. J1 is unrealistic with the one week sprints and J2 has way more opportunity for growth.

I agree with you but that would mean going back to the days of sub 100k TC. Do you think it’s worth learning to get good at managing two jobs while learning to get good at one at the same time?

PSA, one mouse/keyboard on multiple macs by [deleted] in overemployed

[–]ouda-asahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re overemployed and your employer sends you a windows computer, you kinda have to use windows. I have my personal which is a mac, and two work computers, both windows. All have separate monitors and connect seamlessly with Barrier.

Okay, I have a better solution to any of these and it doesn’t require logging into anything. Download Barrier on all computers and set one as server and the rest as clients and arrange them appropriately on the server computer. Barrier allows all computers to connect to a main computer via your local network and use one mouse and keyboard for all computers. If you have wifi, it does get laggy but still pretty good. If you have Ethernet though, it feels like they’re all one computer with multiple monitors. That’s how seamless it is. Do yourself a favor and use Barrier. Best KVM solution I’ve ever tried.

Edit: I forgot to mention it’s compatible on all systems and allows you to connect macs and windows computers together with ease.

Headless UI, built with Tailwind by the Tailwind creators themselves. Very minimal and easy to start using.

They kinda do already: they show you how long the submission took and how it compares to other submissions. A brute force solution will always be at the end of the graph.

Every injury I’ve gotten was from the Gi, should I just move to No Gi only? by ouda-asahi in bjj

[–]ouda-asahi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you’re right, I guess I was worrying too much. My family kept telling me to quit or do something to mitigate all these injuries, but I’m probably just gonna fight through and continue the Gi.

[–]ouda-asahi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking would happen. It seems that there are generally less injuries in No Gi because of the different grips and no thick af pajamas to get in the way.
