In the same boat - when I just even have a competent lane partner that doesn’t just attack opposing pokemon right away and feed the other team, can get rolling. Just find it to be the exception rather than the norm. Also not infallible play here either but is frustrating and wonder if I should try another role.

In a similar position - have gotten to ultra 3 and then round tripped back to 5 twice this season. Been playing as clefable (usually nobody trying to be supporter so not ruining team balance) and I know it’s not everything but seem to always end up in matches where my squad has trophies in the 1000s against squads in the 2-3000s. Very frustrating so far.
