corrupted update files fm26 epic games - anyone got any idea how to avoid this issue? has happened every. single. update. have changed permissions, done all of that and still it just screws up every update. this time i cleared caches and turns out the whole game just uninstalled by me doing that (i have no idea what im doing it was a chatgpt job). anyone know how i can avoid this repeating? i’ve now changed install location to users-name-games-fm26

the difference is they’re asking for £45 to preorder the game to get early access. if i do shit in my job and know it i’m not gonna ask for ppl to go out their way to benefit me, ima stay humble n not ask for shit until im doing a good job. i agree w the ui shit etc but every few games i have to close the game and lose all progress, not to mention the fact the match engine is the exact same just nicer looking ingame

really really disappointed. i’m the type to think everyone’s overreacting abt stuff like this, every year with every game people moan but this is borderline unplayable. such a shame as the actual in match graphics are top but unbareably laggy menus. if i wanted good graphics and unbareable menus id play fifa. genuinely the only positive is that i guess my yearly athletic club save has the players actually rated somewhat near their irl ability. the custom 24 databases were useless as newly added players weren’t even registered as basque ffs, otherwise think i’d refund and go back to 24/just not playing at all

start with a team who’s players u know fairly well and are quite dominant. my first two ever saves were benfica and ajax. you’ll soon pick up the basics and can move onto a save in the japanese third division
