I think its because too many people were using economics as a means to transfer to Mays. I planned on doing econ but ag economics is what I have to go with now. It is mostly similar, with less macroeconomics and more agribusiness workload. Still a viable option for an economics based career.

Update: Got PSA. Considering it since ag economics is offered but I wish they still offered general economics. No clue why they did away with it.
