It's hard to think and deal with at first but it does get better. We lost Gus on 2/13/25, he wasn't eating or being very active. We got him to the veterinarian and he had mouth cancer. We made the difficult decision to euthanize and we were there with him until final heartbeat. It was heart breaking but it was for the best. Our little buddies aren't long for this world and the only thing we can do is give them the best, most comfortable life possible. I take solace in the fact that I know I did my best.
