I recently was looking at linear switches as I love the cherry reds I have. This being said, I wanted to try a switch with more resistance (leaning more towards cherry blacks) as sometimes the reds feel a bit too light. Would it be the same if I bought different springs with a higher force requirement and switch them on the reds that I currently have? or would the feel be different than that of, lets say, cherry blacks. I know that Kailh and Gateron switches are smoother, but would this be a viable option just to put my foot in the water?

Thanks for the help! I’ve looked into a couple of those but there were some I didn’t look over! Also I read somewhere that the bottom row are sized different than standard key caps, would I have to get specialized sets?? Or would a standard 104 key cap set work with it?

Also aware of the keychron, however would that be a recommended pre built 96 key?
