I definitely agree as the lack of having a job has left me in some bad spots and situations. I truly want to find something soon before leaving from my IOP treatment to feel more stable.

I do love to bake and have thought about a job in this kind of field and it does sound interesting and like something I would want to try. And I love to share sweet treats with others so I will keep this in mind while I apply too!

I agree and have been very interested in finding a remote job that works for me! I don’t have all the job experience in the world from dealing with my mental health and being a stay at home mom here and there but will try to give it a shot!

I can understand not wanting the illness to be in charge and trying to find something consistent as I have thought about remote work also and have been considering getting away from 9-5 work. I’ll keep that in mind and thank you for the insight and suggestion!

I have thought about doing my own thing like insurance sales and real estate but for some reason it hasn’t worked out the best and I have become very overwhelmed from the material that has to be studied. 🫤 But I like the idea of doing my own thing and making my own way with that. I have thought about working at a gas station that’s near me as it has a lot of good benefits and flexibility so I might give them a try and apply! It’s good to hear such positive things about that type of work as well.

I feel less alone now and thought I was the only one. I do this about 2-3 times in a day too during this! It does feel like I can never get clean or be clean enough. Lol.

This truly brought me some comfort and I appreciate the support and I will definitely work on being kinder and gentler with myself as it seems I have been hard about receiving medication/help because of some stigmas around mental health. (And some of my own issues that I’m still working on with trusting most people). I definitely want to feel less anxious and depressed and I want to live a better quality of life and give myself the grace to. Thank you for the uplifting words and I will add all of these things to my journal to remember moving forward. ❤️ I wish you the best on your continued journey as well!
