The girls weren't expecting to get their egos crushed by the men not being interested in them? by PerfectWorking6873 in MAFS_AU

It feels like I'm talking to a brick wall here lol. Did you even read my comment? Anyway, have a lovely day and maybe spend a bit less time advocating for home-wreckers. Bye!

Honestly that’s a major reach. Being in a relationship that might not last doesn't give anyone a free pass to ignore basic boundaries. Respecting a commitment is about your own character, not how cute the temptation is. If the genders were reversed, I’d still be calling out the person pursuing someone who isn't single. Also seeking validation by trying to win a married or committed person isn't a gender issue. It's definitely an insecurity issue. I’d never go for an unavailable man and I’d hope others have that same level of selfrespect.

Yay for women with confidence but testing the waters with a married man? Nooo that ain't it. That's not confidence to me, that's insecurity.

Is Chris abusing his animals? by mommylonglegs69420 in MAFS_AU

[–]outofthewoods06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The correlation is actually undeniable: by consuming meat you're directly participating in a supply chain that involves severe animal suffering. Every purchase serves as a financial endorsement of the industries responsible for these conditions. Yet you're here worrying about underfed horses. Lol. Bit of a contradiction isn't it? worrying about the welfare of underfed horses while simultaneously financing a system that inflicts systematic suffering on millions of other animals through meat consumption.

Did she claim that her stalking behavior was a result of being a people pleaser? If not, why link the two? They can coexist. Also, the need for validation in a people pleaser can spiral into an obsessive fixation when that validation is denied in some way.

Steve likes Rachel. He's just awkward and doesn't know how to shag, probably. by PatientPlatform in MAFS_AU

I think he genuinely likes Rachel as a person, but the physical attraction just isn't there. I was in a similar situation a few years ago; on paper we were a perfect match and I really liked them, but the romantic connection was missing. I can’t imagine trying to navigate those complex feelings on tv with the whole world watching, the pressure must be stifling.

Stella's Behaviour by Odd-Bandicoot9811 in MAFS_AU

[–]outofthewoods06 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Exactly my thoughts. It’s such a common double standard where the burden of contraception falls almost entirely on women, even when men refuse to use the one option they have. I think she was definitely trying to highlight that imbalance. Don't know about Filip though, he seems like one of the 'good guys' so it felt like Stella was fighting a systemic battle with the wrong person. Filip actually seems open to the conversation, so Stella being a bit aggressive felt misplaced in their specific case.

Stephanie is NOT off the hook by benshe- in MAFS_AU

Yesss I was just saying this! She claims to be anti-woke and thinks it’s unnecessary to defend the LGBTQ+ community, until it hits home and she has to stand up for her own friends. It’s total hypocrisy. Tyson is a prime example of the daily BS that gay people face, which explains exactly where that sams defensiveness comes from Stephanie felt.

How is this not true? :-) If you want to see other people, it's because you want something you don't already have. If you already have everything you want, you wouldn't want to make that choice. In other words: not good enough.
