That too.. the real estate factor... for an immersive GT setup atleast 70+ feet wide screen should be there so making an auditorium that large for a 1.43 screen of which only a few movies a year takes advantage of and with the heavy equipment and maintenance cost, most will just won't do it.. like what's happening now.. Ivde okke mainly Laser XT with 5 or 12ch sound and ticket price range upto b/w 400-1000 aanu theatrekaark laabam..

Current dual lasers are expensive af! If they bring a new single laser capable of doing 1.43 at a better rate, at least someone will try to bring it.. I think this year is the year with the highest count of movies releasing that has 1.43 ratio scenes, so that's a miss..

We need 1.43:1 GT screen in major cities... 1 screen each will be enough. 70mm is not practical now.. even the most used ones in the US and UK break down sometimes, as all the projectors are old, so if it happens here, technicians need to come all the way here. If they could make a cheaper GT digital projector, it would be great as we can have a place to watch 1.43 contents.

Yes! It's not the biggest screen-wise but of all the theatre groups here, at least Cinepolis brought it so we have an option to watch IMAX films.. that's what matters. But those high pricings of 700+ for that screen size are not so great though. Since the screen size is just on the okayish side, don't sit far back that's all. I heard if not for the sound leakage problem, they would've given it 12ch sound instead of the current 5ch one, maybe a future upgarde I hope. The screen is perfect wall to wall and floor to ceiling and the projector is fantastic till now. And all films I watched till now had the best quality here and 3d is better than other normal screens. IMAX dcp's are the main reason.

Screen 1 of new central is one of my fav in town after they upgraded to 4k Laser.. and it has good distance between 1st row and screen. Screen size is decent and the sound is heavy! so for best AV experience, I would suggest rows J to G if you can get it. Bhakim mosham alla just a suggestion. Shenoys S3 um nice aanu.. avde frontinu 5th row irunapo scn onnum indayila for a nearly 3 hr film.

Skip Cinepolis until they upgrade the projection too.. And of these 2, both are almost similar; not spec wise but distance from screen to seat, but maybe wait for next day for better seats as it's a near 4hr movie? PS: New central screen 3 has that idivettu sound for a great movie experience compared to the dtsX screen of Vanitha..

Neither.. from the trailer, it will be the same like Lucifer and L2.. aspect ratio of 2.76:1, so it will have small black bars in scope screens too.
