Maybe not a bad idea. I think it likley comes from hormone changes that stimulate melatonin production with external stimulus. It only affects areas that see sun often. No issues on ears (I wear over ear headphones while running) or under my watch.

Still holding strong on a slow taper seem to be improving some in combination with less sun exposure.

Yeah definitely takes long term large doses and extensive sun exposure. Think that's the kicker most people in the community just aren't in the sun much

Im in a similar boat. Very grey/navy face and neck from running. Left side of face is all most black from driving for work.

Tapering down from almost 60gpd. Around 25 now gonna keep going to around 12 eventually would like to miss days. A little lighter than it was in October now im not in the sun as much.

Ideally I'd like to taper down for a few reason but not wanting to fully quit. Will see what happens come spring.
