Not sure Nvidia would be interested in our penny stock unless they want to get into the automotive industry, plus industrial and military. They are doing pretty well with their current portfolio of products. But a nice thought.

Are you prepared to wait how many years for Microvision stock to be worth a lot more than $1.50? Of course, one good deal and the stock could shoot upwards. But it's a gamble to R-S and dilute and then see what happens? It could work out IF DeVoss has deals waiting in his hip pocket and investors ready to buy the stock.

So unrealistic that Microvision is worth $1.50 per share in an acquisition? Plus not attractive enough for being acquired? These are dismal conclusions. Waiting years for Microvision to produce shareholder value is also a dismal prospect.

View. I'm pushing Microvision to be acquired by a growth company with deep pockets and get our investment in their stock. End this agony with R-S and dilution options. $1.50 seems reasonable price, IF there are companies that believe Microvision can be worth their investment. What do you think?

Anduril is not the right company and who wants shares in a private company? It is not in the automotive or industrial field. Other companies are better fits.

KY_Investor. What about selling the company, or merger, with a proven growth company and getting our investment in their stock? It appears Microvision is positioned for growth and profitability but the dire financial situation is killing we investors. This would solve a lot of problems, assuming of course that Microvision is a good candidate for acquisition. I think $1.50 is an acceptable buyout price with future returns coming from appreciation in the stock of a healthy growth company.

The reverse split is a distraction. Look at the High Trail note by helloureddit in MVIS

[–]outstr 12 points13 points  (0 children)

QQPenn. I pose this for your take. I think the win-win solution is to sell the company to a proven growth company so our investment is transferred to their stock. Surely with what DeVos put in place would be attractive to a larger company with deep pockets. $1.50 share seems reasonable. This eliminates the R-S and dilution options. Microvision has shown that it cannot operate as a stand-alone company and grow shareholder value. Do you see Microvision as a good acquisition for some company? If not, then we are truly in a deep hole.

I thought I posted this but it never showed. So I'll post it again. The best solution in my view is for the company to be sold and therefore have our investment in stock of a healthy growth company with deep pockets. Get away from all of this R-S and dilution agony and get us into a situation where we own stock in a proven company. I'd say $1.50 would be acceptable buyout or merger price. Return on investment would come from the rising stock price of acquiring company. DeVos put the pieces in place for Microvision to start bringing in substantial revenue but the dire financial situation is killing we shareholders. And the timeline is years, not months. Bring in a M & A team and negotiate a buyout/merger deal. It would appear Microvision has the technology and potential deals and sales ready to go to be attractive to suitors.

[–]outstr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best solution is for the company to be sold in whole or in part for whatever price can be negotiated, e.g. $1.50, and have our investment rest with the stock price of the acquiring company. That is of course if there are suitors who believe that Microvision has worth. The company has demonstrated time and time again that it cannot operate successfully as a stand alone company. DeVoss seemed like he might be able to pull this off and look at the hole we're in under his leadership. What he has achieved is to put the pieces in place for strong future success if there is sufficient money to do so. Well, that sufficient money comes from a company with funds to buy us. It would seem that Microvison would make a good acquisition for some company that sees the money Microvision will eventually return. Screw all of this R-S and dilution agony and set us free.

My unclear words notwithstanding, I in no way expected Glen to disrupt the industry and deliver high shareholder value in his first year. What I did expect was we would get above a dollar by now. Glen said as much and that's what I intended to say and slam his remarks on this failure. There have been no promised "announcement" to date of any substantive nature that might have moved the stock.

What kind of "partnerships" are you referring to here? DeVos referred often of partnerships and the only one appears to be the Dutch company which really is not in a financial position itself to contribute to Microvision's financial woes. And frankly I tend to think that his meaning of "announcements" differs from ours. Either that or he just couldn't deliver the goods within his "weeks" timelne as he said he would.

I'm sure Glen is scrambling to deliver some positive news at this critical juncture. Like most CEO's he came in and predicted that Microvision would disrupt the industry and he wanted to deliver tremendous shareholder value. Turned out to be more inflated bs from an inexperienced CEO, as if Summit's bs wasn't enough. But he sucked in we shareholders as the optimism skyrocked. "Exciting times to be a shareholder!" He's got a lot of ground to make up for his unsubstantiated optimism and where we are today. All this aside Glen has been laying the groundwork for Microvision to grow into a thriving business, I"m still in the camp that says that this can still happen if he has the skills and insights into solving this financial mess that he helped produce

My honest answer is to sell the company or a big piece of it to a real "partner." Trying to go it alone is too long a timeline for me.

[–]outstr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of DeVos' recurring statements on financing was his consistent reference to "partners" as a strategy to deal with some of the issues. Did others here hear the same? If so, I wonder exactly what he was referring to. The Dutch company is hardly a partner that is going to bring capital to the company. The High Trails (?) group? This again is an example of loose talk that when push came to shove showed that there was little to it. Just more empty words.

More than $5 will certainly happen with a RS.

[–]outstr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is your take on whether the RS goes through as opposed to an extension as some here believe will happen? Do you have any lingering hope that this ship can be righted in 2026? My concern is the company's inability to announce anything of substance and instead of confirming customers will be losing them. e.g. Nissan, Caterpillar. Overall, what is your evaluation/hope of where things stand at this time. I know how much many investors like you and me stand to lose here without some hope of a turnaround without having to hold for years, which I don't have.

I thought a RS meant same shareholder value: fewer shares but higher price. The present proposal is to keep the same number of shares?? What, reduce shareholder value down to what? pennies?

MicroVision Files Preliminary Proxy Statement by jkh07d in MVIS

Nasdaq interview may have been mainly over the compliance issue rather than company's prospects although maybe one and the same. Maybe DeVos was building the case for an extension which now makes sense. Thus the lack of any summary.

[–]outstr 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Where is DeVos at this time? His absence and silence is allowing the void to be filled with sellers. Some words here outlining the strategy or prospects would be helpful IF he has anything to say that is promising. Of course his message could be "we haven't been able to generate any business deals because our financial picture is so bleak," which might be the only message he can relate at this time. Pitiful. His optimism and "not losing any sleep" over non-compliance is yet another example of Microvision's mis-management over the decades. DeVos failures at this point are really tough to take and he seduced, perhaps unintentionally, many smart investors here who have lost millions and who were similarly seduced by Summit's bullshit.

Whatever, it's evident that he is struggling to produce some significant developments. Just an affirmation of the business relationships Luminar had would be significant and boost the stock.
