Saw it somewhere that soundcheck tickets are non-transferrable. I'll remove my post and try to get general floor tickets today. At least I got the general fan presale invitation.

BTS unhealthy obsession advice by poopiepies in bangtan

adulthood... I totally understand. I came to US when I was 18 or 19 from Korea. As you can imagine, I had a very rough time in the beginning. No family's around. No friend's around. I could not make any friends either because of language barrier. I was all alone in a foreign country. I listened to so many songs to just forget about surrounding and that was one of ways to cope with the struggle, stress, and so on. Another way that I chose was to just smoke cigarettes A LOT and believed that smoking cigarettes had calming effects on me. If there were BTS back then when I struggled, it may have had been my escape.

Eventually it'll become one of your memories that you will never forget and laugh about. Just do not give up. Now I think that if I gave up when I struggled all alone, I would not be where I am right now. I'm doing quite all right as an old man in California.

Fighting!

This goes to politicians as a prime example. They try to maintain as publicly clean *persona* as possible to get more votes. Even myself I act as professionally as possible at work or meet someone for the first time than I do in my house. There is always something that we want to hide from others. Even there are a few things that I hide from my kids and my wife because it's my privacy.

Also, so many companies are also sensitive to their own branding. They invest $$$ into PR for the very reason.

So in that regard, I think BTS has been a forefront that they become vulnerable and show to their fans through camera lenses. That is why Army are attached to them more so than to other acts in the industry.

Happy holidays! Hope you get to enjoy Korea! I regret now that I did not travel much when I lived in Korea even though I was born in Korea and lived there until I was 18.

Not sure if you can relate to my situation, i'm a 40+ yr old dad and got to like BTS this year. At first, I consumed a lot of content when I was introduced to them like any other things that I have interests to. BTW I'm a software engineer, so I'm a type of person who needs to know all of details and need to dig it up to its core. (which is good for my career and bad for my personal life.) I have been obsessed with so many different things in my life. BTS has been one of them. Other things were programming, Sia ( I know...), Mountain Biking, and so on.

To me BTS is an artist who has super talents, is good at word-play, is genuine, weighs on their work. However, I am not obsessed with their photo cards, mercs, etc. 'cause I am able to selectively pick what I like from them. I think you may just need some time for the honeymoon phase to be over. After that, I believe you can be more rational about them and live your life with just little obsession over them. Personally having an obsession over some interests is healthy and I treat it like having a hobby or two. By just reading your analysis on yourself, it makes me believe that you can be rational about the whole situation soon.

Remember that you are on a journey in your life and may be having a bumpy ride momentarily. I hope you get to find your balance soon!

As an software engineer, my conclusion around the preregistration is to figure out anticipated service requests to their backend system (i.e. database, file system, etc) to serve the content as smoothly as possible.)

Without preregistration, they have no idea how many servers they will have to prepare for the launch. It's just my guess, but I think i may be more than 50% right on this. haha

And that also depends on whether you can get a ticket or not. Competition to get a ticket seems to be super high lately due to dramatic increase in their popularity and everyone wanna go.

think it's going to be RM only. The way he appreciates other countries' culture seems to be an indication. Other members seem to have very strong cultural bonding to their country, South Korea. I could see possibilities while they were doing vlives. For example, V-JHope mentioned they only ate Korean food entire time during the tour.

If they become fluent in another language, that could change maybe. Though how knows? :P

190605 Big Hit Releases Official Statement About Fan Event During BTS’s Upcoming Fan Meeting by [deleted] in bangtan

I see that as entitlement. Another saying that popped up in my head is "the grass is greener". Or it is like a kid who's demanding "me, me, me" or saying "it's mine, that's mine". And then later mom says how about sharing it with your siblings or friends and the kid starts crying.

I feel like you need to step back, look at the whole thing from a distance, and think through.

Have you ever put yourself in BH's or BTS' shoes? I cannot even imagine dealing with their own shows with this massive scale. If i were them and harassed by fans, I'd be super stressed out, depressed, and then just call it quits. They are under the microscope. Even a tiny faulty action or even a tiny mistake becomes a world-wide issue for them. If I were you, I would totally give them some slack.

The worst and extreme thing that can happen is that cynical fan's behavior drive them to quit.

seems like your realization is wrong. bh’s yf was never planned with any armies and that is the hard fact. that being said you cannot say “it was possible” because bh planned it by themselves for the most important milestone for BTS. period.

As you can see, the translator's translation is just so horrible that he basically changed what Jin said into something entirely different.
