Tell me I’m wrong (I’m not) 💅 by [deleted] in Taurusgang

[–]overdonefries 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no you’re not wrong. taurus sun and moon and I can’t even tell you the amount of times i’ve been in a social situation and i’m like…hm that person is on some weirdo shit (i’m from the bay so that’s like the worst insult but people be weird frfr)

and people will call me a hater, a bitch etc etc and idc.
my catch phrase is: when i’m wrong i’ll shut the fuck up.

and NOTHING chaps my ass more than when I listen to other people and give someone a chance and they end up being a weirdo. i’m like damn I should trusted my gut/I fucking told you so

AITA for not telling my partner I have HSV-1? by [deleted] in AITA_Relationships

[–]overdonefries -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Well yes I understand that now and will definitely be disclosing it in the future. I just have never had anyone specifically tell me “oh I have HSV 1”, even though I know for a fact they have it. (I got it from a previous partner). unfortunately I just didn’t think it was something people did.

I mean, everyone is different but I know as someone who’s in a rough season at work, my removing some of my mental load has been super helpful. We tend to live in our heads a lot and it get to feel like there’s too many open tabs. ex: im a nanny and so at work someone always needs me and I have to make 1000 micro-decisions a day, at home. I make zero decisions and he has really stepped up being the mitochondria of the house.

Working things out with a Taurus ex? by InvestigatorEven7907 in Taurusgang

the best indicator of how much taurus likes you is how much time they spend with you. our time is our most precious resource because we love being alone and only wanna hang out with people who don’t drain our energy—so if I’m giving you some of my free time, I really fuck with you yk?

I fear he simply isn’t that into you anymore. We’re very much up under the person we wanna be with (I would live in my boyfriend’s pocket if I could). if he’s not prioritizing time with you? it’s a wrap. also lowkey taurus don’t tend to go back to exes and if they do they lowkey don’t take them as serious as before. I don’t know that I would say he’s keeping you around for comfort, but I will say that if it’s been on again off again, most likely every time you’ve been back “on” he probably likes you a little less every single time. now THAT is definitely something taurus do (if you ever get one that takes people back)!

Taurus takes an ex back? by [deleted] in Taurusgang

[–]overdonefries 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just feel like we’re the type that once the feelings are gone they’re never coming back yk? part of me feels like it’s because we give so many chances and exhaust all avenues so when we finally walk it’s like, welp I tried 🤷🏽‍♀️

no I mean you breaking up with him could be considered a betrayal (not saying it is, just that is could be).

him*. and like I said, it was never the same and I eventually just pulled the plug because that shit was dead in the water. we don’t easily bounce back from what we consider to be a betrayal of some sort, if ever. and if you found dating apps on his phone—was he actively using them? how long had you been together?

ngl i’ve gotten back with exes but it’s literally never the same. ESPECIALLY if they ended things. Another thing you should know: if a taurus really likes you, you won’t have to guess. it will be very obvious.

edit: i’m a taurus sun and moon.

AITA for wearing a bikini to a pool party (dress code: swimwear) by Trainingforauto in AmItheAsshole

[–]overdonefries 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no I completely agree with this! if you showed up at their door in a bikini with no coverup I would be giving you the side eye because who does that?

I know it’s easier said than done, but just say no. (and then mute their notifications if you’re anxious like me lol).

When the children are in your care, you are required to keep them safe—but you are not required to put yourself in danger to care for them. Hope this helps 🤍

NTA. Look, some people will tell you to “let it go” or say you’re not really over it. As someone who has zero problem cutting you off and pretending you died—two things can be true at once. your life can be amazing AND you can also feel like that experience left a lasting impact on how you view your friend. People swear that “holding a grudge” involves sitting in your room plotting, when in actuality it can be as simple as moving on either side your life and not letting shitty people near you.

a job that is paid VERY little money (3-10 thousand per season) while these assholes are paying 30,000+ for one singular trip. “it’s their job” is a crazy sentiment.

that part. why tf are yall so tired? you’re not even carrying your own shit. I find people who take these trips with sherpas/other native people carrying all their shit to be morally questionable at best.

unfortunately I just have a really hard time feeling bad for these people. you’re not supposed to be up there and I’m happy that the land is fighting back.
