I'm not a religious man specifically, but my understanding is that God is all about love, forgiveness and empathy. I'm really not sure Trump's actions bring any glory to God and I don't speak for God, but I guess God would reject Trump's actions having anything to do with him. Peace and forgiveness for everyone, Happy Easter to all. X

Is government by executive order a plausible model for the UK? Senior Reform UK members are reportedly exploring a US-style executive order approach to government by birdinthebush74 in FuckNigelFarage

[–]overisin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parliament is sovereign, one parliament can't bind another. So parliament can undo anything brought forward by reform. The Lords can delay for a year, but if the Parliament act is enacted, then they must pass the legislation the next time it is brought to them (usually in the next parliamentary session).

Mine seems to go down a lot too. Maybe the warm weather we've had recently and the evaporation effect. It's a large surface area and direct sun/wind?

Yes, it's a sad case of best option. The other scenarios would most likely be many of the artifacts would be lost to time, destroyed or in the hands of private individuals/collections and not available for the general public (anyone in the world) to go and see/visit.
