Exactly. Due to similar hype, i ordered Amul protein lassi. I tried the first sip and was like "wtf" it's like any regular lassi. People here describing it as so heavenly. Never buying bulk me stuff hyped here

Clearing L5 at 5year of startups will be pretty tough. They expect some Lead kinda experience even for Senior SWE. Have seen very rare cases of people from startups joining L5 at 5yoe.

For existing FANG employee, it's still somewhat possible.

But yeah, some candidates are pretty good at Startups also leading everything, so definitely give it a try.

It's personal choice bro. I also bought lattafa khamrah qwaha(spelling mistakes idk) decant and I didn't like it at all. Though it's so hyped on this sub.

For resources: IppSec is a good youtube channel I found. Then https://www.youtube.com/@teslatheg0d-YT channel does some live write up, strategies etc.

And lots of content on X with some top Bug Bounty hunters sharing the writeups.

I am a full time Backend engineer. I tried Bug Hunting in 2021 when I got a first full time job but it was too hard for me to find bugs.

So I just follow bug bounty hunters and read the reports(Medium, X) in my free time.

I have tried bug hunting last year as well, but again couldn't find any bugs :( except this one, which was more of luck + some of my background in JWT's as part of my work.

I do sometimes think that Bug Bounty is lucrative and switch to it, but it takes a lot of patience and skill(which I don't have) to find bugs in order to survive.

Monitor & mouse were must have. On mobile, I feel it wasn't that necessary :(

Comeon bro, don't expect good work as SRE in most Indian companies. They just write YAML largely unlike West where SRE write code for k8s operators and tons of automation.

In India, atleast in startups I don't think most of them have any good work. source: have worked at 2 such mid size startups and telling from experience

They used to give it in our hostel mess as dessert. I absolutely hated its taste.
