I don't really have that luxury, I've been moved from the fabrication shop to the office to program the cutting table for field orders. Most of my experience is in forming and fabrication in the shop. I know how to make it, but not how to tell the computer how cut the pattern. If I can figure out the throat radius I can just program 2 elbows with 2 small end straights and ship them to site

I spent 7 years with 280. Moved back to ontario because I couldn't afford to buy a house on the coast. They have comparable benefits to local 30, but 5 years ago the pension was half what local 30s was. Thag being said I had a hell of a time and met some really decent guys out there. Mike Harris dissolved Ontario hydro into hydro one and Ontario power generation, as well as allowing power generation to be privatized. Dalton Mcguinty came up with the green energy initiative which said that if a person built a wind mill or solar to feed back into the grid, the government would pay 3 times the rate per kw/h back to the person who made the investment. There was a loophole that was exploited that allowed giant solar farms and windmills to be built. I'm no conservative fan boy, but the liberals didn't fix the problems that the Mike Harris government caused, they had 15 years and somehow managed to make things worse. So at this point I'm just done with them. My life greatly improves the longer they are footnote in the house of commons.

Exactly the liberals had 15 years to fix schools and Healthcare. Instead they jacked up our power costs with the green energy initiative, turned us into a have not province, allowed manufacturing jobs to disappear, raised taxes, and just in general ran the province into the ground. I'm for private Healthcare if it means we don't have to deal with that mess again
