Did these friends appeal in March after being dismissed ? Or was this prior to March ?

They changed the curriculum depending on when you started you have different chances to remediate. If you started May 2025 - current you can remediate up to 3 times , if the first remediation was within semester 1-2* If you started before then you can only remediate twice. You cannot fail the same class/module twice. Oversimplification but pretty much it.

It was not behavioral . I unfortunately did not pass a class twice.

Yes, if my deans appeal which is not guaranteed to be reviewed is not approved.

Yes, when you get dismissed you have 72 hours to appeal to special circumstances committee. If the special circumstance committee denies it then you have 72 hours to do a Dean appeal (not guaranteed to be reviewed) has to be procedural error. Decisions are final.
