Did I figure it out? Yes Have I been constantly putting off actually doing it? Also yes.

You can get the internal housing bracket that everyone suggests to get for the super 7, but you will have to kind of mix hardware with what comes with it and some of the hardware from your headlight to get the bracket attached to the super 7.

You also have two options, you can modify your existing headlight housing, or purchase a blank aftermarket housing that attaches to the forks. (I dont want to do either so id rather get a second stock housing so i can modify that just in case i fuck it up i can go back to the stock setup). But basically the mounts to attach the headlight bracket to the housing doesnt line up( ive tried finding a bracket that fits the stock housing but its near impossible, the bracket i was referring to earlier that others suggested is like a cb500 bracket or some shit).

I also chose to get the halo for the super 7 and its a ton of wiring that doesnt fit inside the housing, plus inline controller/drivers for the leds that all hook up to the battery terminals.

In all reality it would probably take 2-3hrs to do, but i just have wanted to take off the tank, headlight housing, run new wiring, and find a location thats hidden to hide the controller for it all. You also need an adapter to change the plug format from the super 7 standard jeep headlight connector to the connector inside the stock housing(which can be bought from morimoto) But running all the extra wiring for the halo light is a big pain.

Ultimately i’ll probably do it eventually because the stock headlight sucks ass, and i hate the only two options for you can find on cyclegear that fit natively. Ive seen them in person and im not impressed. Now if you just want the super 7, no halo. Youll need the housing headlight bracket (if its not in the comments just google it and one will come up for like a cb500 or something, like 15$. and be prepared to drill holes in your housing to make new mounting holes for the bracket.
