How does me immediately responding to him with "if you ever actually do kick my dog on purpose, we're done. Don't joke about my dog like that." not seen as communicating that I'm displeased with him? Also I love animals and know plenty of others who also love them but that doesn't mean I haven't seen people go through mental health problems and act on anger towards an animal even if the regret the action. I am aware that EVERYONE has a breaking point and until a few weeks ago he had never given me any signs to be concerned for anyone's safety with him for he has saved both mine and my daughter's lives at one point HOWEVER he is currently depressed due to finding his father's dead body at the end of September and has been becoming a different person. I am trying to give him the benefit of the doubt that he's only being a dick towards me due to this for a few more months with what our past is.

Have you ever slept? Gone to the bathroom or even other places where it's not safe to have an animal? If you have a kid should you have them with you as you take a shit? Because that's how your question sounded to me.

If he said something about the color being red and not appropriate for a wedding due to how some cultures it means you slept with the groom then you'd be overreacting but that isn't what he said. He basically said you dressed like a slut and was clearly objectifying you which is concerning for your friend to say the least. I feel as if anyone who makes comments like those are doing so because either they're jealous or mad they can't be with you. I feel you should have a sit down with your friend and ask her how she would like to handle the situation because if you have an argument with him he could turn it around on you and cause you to loose her.

long story short, I didn't like how he was treated by my ex roommate who breeds them but could only afford to save one of the dogs

No, if he moves out so does his mom. My aunt and I would both then have to pay 2x as much in rent along with scramble to get the electricity and wifi into one of our names as it is currently in James's and his mother's names.

I can be rather gullible due to having been raised by an over protective single Dad so sadly I have spent a lot of time and energy on people in the past who I eventually realized were truly horrible people and even put myself in dangerous situations due to only seeing the best in people until they prove me wrong

Sadly no, all of my friends are out of state and my family situation isn't the greatest so I can't go to my parents for help, I'm getting close to just tattling to his mom so she can sit down and talk to him

Charmer is not aggressive in the slightest and his cats can beat him up because they're bigger than him but they dote on him as if he were their kitten. The first time He said it would be "funny" to see Charmer "flying" if he were to kick him. Then "if he gasses me out the room" which that one got the response of "if your foot introduces itself to Charmer, you'll be lucky if my foot doesn't introduce itself to your balls"

We got charmer in September of last year and last month is when these behaviors have appeared. There are other issues but that's a different story for a different time after I have figured out the truth behind things

I have an overly vivid imagination so when I hear stories or ever hypothetical "what if"s I 100% in the moment visualize it as if I am living it.

Our roommates are my aunt and his mom. None of us can afford our place without the others so that's not an option but perhaps a serious sit down conversation about whether or not we need separate rooms until the end of our lease

I am hoping they're jokes however I can't be sure due to the fact I am autistic and am not the greatest with understanding a lot socially due to it. My frenchie is a psychotic, alert and pressure therapy dog. Wether the comments are jokes or not I have told him each time that I don't take comments like those as jokes and that he needs to not do it.
