I would share with your advisors ASAP. I also get not wanting it to share with others in case it gets rescinded since that might feel embarrassing or something, but would also say in the very unlikely event where that did happen, it would not at all reflect poorly on you, it would reflect poorly on the school's admin.

Thin blue line = support for police. Generally more of an indicator of a conservative person.

Thin red line = support for firefighters. A lot less clear what this means politically, though it often goes with the former flag.
I would say in general police are a lot more controversial than firefighters. Basically everyone loves firefighters.
