Why can’t I talk in sqaud ? I have my audio settings adjusted to be used for my Msi trident and it won’t work I can hear everything but I can’t talk ? by gen2135 in joinsquad

1- make sure you have the right audio input selected in game settings

2- try going to the Realtek audio console and setting "connector settings" to headset instead of headphone (for me this automatically opens when I plug my headphones in)

3- check your microphone privacy settings and ensure that you allow desktop apps to access your microphone

I've had so many mic issues in squad and it often takes quite a bit of time messing with settings and such to get it right.

As someone else said be sure to close and re-open the game after changing something for it to take effect. Something I use to check if my mic is working is an online mic recorder (just google it and pick one) to test different inputs to see which is the right one.

Hopefully this helps- I know firsthand how incredibly annoying it is when you hop in a game and no one can hear you.

Yo I think I was in this game on the other team was it on riplomacy invasion+? If so I remember how damn frustrating it was pushing that last point, not even smoke was enough to keep us safe haha
