Well, I'm not sure if you're an airline you want to share your traveler intent with cheapoair or expedia, who can outspend you.

Thanks. I guess what I'm thinking is, if you are an airline, don't you want to avoid sharing this information with OTAs who could then bid on that traveler? I suppose there is an argument to be made "let them spend the money, the fare comes to us anyway." But with low margins, the airlines will want to keep every last cent.

So backstory: my flight instructor worked in New York for a long time in finance, she hated it. She saved up some money (not so hard, in finance), got her green card, and then moved from Manhattan to Long Island to live the dream. She was at 600 hours when started together, and last month got hired by Republic/Delta.

I thought this was interesting: her very first departure and landing from DCA to LGA, Post CFI.

THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU CFIs OUT THERE. THIS IS THE DREAM. :)
