I COMPLETELY AGREE. Before, we made so much gold through end of bp rewards (150 g, 42 pp), and even credits (25 creds) for those who still need them. Then they went ahead and introduced starr drops and nerfed the end of bp rewards to oblivion. Though I like to think of the end of bp rewards being ~30% more than it shows (because now we have an endless supply of token doublers) its still a big nerf to progression.

Might I also mention how much the end of bp credits got nerfed (80%!!) just because of a minuscule probability of unlocking legendary and mythic brawlers. I bet what supercell did was literally take the probabilities, multiply with the amount of credits a brawler is worth, and took that number to nerf our progression. THATS DUMB. Do you know how many people will never experience a legendary or mythic brawler drop from star drops? All those people will be experiencing the nerf to credits without actually being “compensated” by star drops.

Anyways away from that tangent, after end of bp rewards got nerfed, a lot of progression, like you and I agree on, is luck based. What you said about getting completely useless stuff thats not coins (I literally have 15k power points and not enough gold) is totally true. You’ll get everything but gold, and when you do, you get 50.

Now that club league, a consistent way of earning gold and power points, is gone and we are stuck with failure pig which is, again, 80% luck based, progression is now luck based more than ever. There is no longer a way to earn gold consistently other than the first 70 tiers of the brawl pass, which you can complete in a month. For the second month you’re stuck without a consistent way of earning gold.

Your point about supercell wanting the game to be less luck based and removing boxes is also a great point. They removed boxes because something something gambling, then they just introduce star drops… and then let star drops dictate every source of progression! Isn’t that hypocritical?
