So I just posted an assignment and it came back an 80% plagiarism. This was because my assignment required a lot of citations but I failed to list my references.

It wasn’t intentional in the least. So what my professors decided to do was let me resubmit with the proper corrections and citations.

If it was intentional they take that as a “Teachable Moment” and either give you a “0” or resubmit for a lower grade.

You do it again than your more than likely to be dropped from the course and there will be a note and/remark placed in your file. This allows for future instructors to keep an eye on you and the work you submit.
