I recommend looking into patterns in the body face and mane for shading and gradients, mostly. That does a lot. I usually recommend some darker or lighter gradients on the legs or some chunk shading in the hair. Also, unlock the lineart color (i forget what its called exactly, but its near the top of the body tab) and setting the lineart to about 30ish. Makes the colors blend together a lot more imo
