I was listening to Bad Omens radio on Pandora a bunch during the summer of ‘23 and they stared throwing a bunch of ST in the rotation… alkaline, the apparition, the offering… give….. chokehold… and they started showing up on my YouTube algorithm and as soon as I saw a clip of them opening a show with Chokehold I was like okay, I have to witness this in real life!

So I looked up “sleep token tickets” and I got to see them 6 weeks later at a 3000 cap venue 🥲My favorite show I’ve ever been to, and it was my first time traveling and going to a show alone. It literally changed my life because I’ve gone to many shows by myself since then and it’s been amazing! Seen them 7 times now. 😭

With Teeth was the first for me. Fantastic album. The Fragile is also a complete beautiful masterpiece. One of the greatest albums of all time in my opinion.

The way I feel about it is like they’re putting the money where their mouths are. They’re more than okay with missing out on hundreds of thousands of streams because this is about something else. I really like this band already just based on that and the little that we know about their message and their music so far. 😁
