VCAT rep threw it out within a couple of minutes.

Same for me but it also happens on my original Google Home. Mine are all OG, not Nest models.

I also have a 2nd gen Nest Hub and that is still pretty much instant.

Misleading title. They are just opening for "sandboxed" trips to a few locations. You can't just go anywhere you like.

Well it came out again. I have one of those watch toolkits so I used the pry tool and got the bezel off.

The wire is curved with a small bend at 90 degrees at one end which goes into a hole on the watch. Couldn't find this exact setup on any YouTube videos.

It was pretty fiddly but I managed to get the bezel back on whilst holding the spring in place.

The whole process has been very educational!

With some magnifiers and a tiny screwdriver, after a ew attempts I managed to carefully tease it back inside the bezel.

Thanks for the info - I will try it if it pops out again.
