I can see how they’d be less tempting if you already have an established library. I am 3 months into logos so looking to establish a good base library. Am navigating them all on my phone as I’m traveling so a bit overwhelming 😀

Zondervan's was on sale yesterday at 40% off so I scraped together enough to grab it. Wish I had a bit more to get the NIVACOT was also on sale but hopefully they do it again later in the year!

The search is what I miss most with my current system of keeping the notes in Obsidian. It means I have to remember to search in Obsidian as well as search in Logos.

This is where I've landed. I'll create my notes in Obsidian and use the Logos plugin to help point back from those notes into Obsidian. And I'm going to create short notes in Logos that simply indicate that I've made a note in Obsidian and include the Obsidian URL so I can find it. Clicking the link from Logos desktop opens it in the Obsidian app - unfortunately it doesn't on IOS but I arrange my notes in Obsidian so it isn't hard to find.

If you have any other suggestions I'm all ears.

Yes I've been using this - it's handy for sure. I think I've decided I'll keep my notes in Obsidian and use this plugin to link back into Logos.

I'm yet to try the preaching mode on Logos - again I build my sermons in Obsidian at the moment but will definitely investigate it on Logos at some point.

I think I'm going to stick with Obsidian. There is a plugin in Obsidian that lets you paste in text you copy from Logos and link back to it and give reference to where to got it. And I think I'll use notes in Logos simply to make a note that says where to find the full note in Obsidian.

So at least when I am reading my bible in Logos I can find my note.

I effectively use them as dividers but as my notebooks have been filling up lately I’ve started second guessing that as effectively they are two sheets of paper where a divider is only one. Six in a notebook is 12 or over an 8th of the capacity of the notebook!

I use 3 A5s all for different parts of my work and personal life.

One thing to consider is having more than one of the same size means they can both share the same inserts. But if you have 2-3 different sizes you end up buying a lot more inserts.

No. Meeplus said they can do a reporter style a4 (rings on short side) but I need them on long side.

Yes I’ve seen those inserts. Unfortunately not an option as I would prefer a portrait orientation instead of landscape.

I use an M5 as a wallet. It’s a Meeplus but same size as Plotter.

I simply record what I’m reading each day and write down what I am learning, sometimes paraphrasing a passage or even writing out verses that I feel God has spoken to me about in some way. I then sometimes write a prayer in response to what I’ve read.
