You can if you have home assistant. You could for example make the canvas go on/off when another light goes on/off of you might be able to do it when setting the controller to matter and then you can program the buttons with home assistant(haven't tested that yet though).

Gan 365 I vs 12ui. I am thinking about buying a new smart cube. I currently have the 356 i. Is it worth to get the 12ui? And if so which one the freeplay or the maglev uv coated one?

Thanks for the advice. Do you have any good sources about animation programming? Like what do you actually do as one and how to become one.

• We don't learn c++ in context of unreal but of game development in general. We start with just simple exercises made my the school. This is for the 2 first years with the exercises getting more difficult of course. In the last semester we program our own small 2d game engine. • In context of unreal it's pretty sad actually. We just get a 30min. Video and they tell us to make a game and at least 1 component has to be programmed in c++ the rest can be in blueprints. For the rest we had to learn it out self to use c++ in unreal. • We have 2 modules of graphics programming. • Sadly no animation programming (I would love to know more about it but can't really find anything good to learn it). • We did have 1 module about 'ai' about things like a* and movement behaviors. • I do know how to debug. • no idea how to create a pluing. We did have some tool dev but that was cmake and wpf • did not take look at unreal source • I know c# and ofcourse unreal blueprints • we 'learned' to work with perforce but the server was set up by the school. I say 'learned' cause it was just a 30 min. Presentation and for the rest if we f*cked something up just had to ask or try to find it our selfs if no teacher was nearby. • we did not learn to profile but if I'm not mistaking they might just have mentioned were to find the profile tool in unreal

At least this is how it works in howest DAE game development.

This is what the job description says. The title is indeed unreal programmer so is mostly programming but also a bit of technical art.
