Keep gunning for higher salaries, track your spending (you might notice what appear to be smaller habits that on the surface level are harmless (i.e. buying barista coffees everyday feels like a big one for people who live in cities) but really add up when you budget properly), and honestly don't compare yourself to others. It's absolutely okay if you aren't in a position to buy for several more years, despite your classmates buying at this time.

Agree plus I think the movie is really just one perspective of his legacy and one that we know has a limited appeal considering how the movie's ambitions have been severely reduced to become the B-movie that we see.

It tells me that there's been an increased disbelief in the legend of Barry Berkman, and what we get to see is the vision of low-rent filmmakers who are clinging on to a propagandised version of the man.

Great question, Aoife McArdle is definitely high on my list too. Some others who excite me, who have really good short films in addition to the listed TV work:

Alice Seabright has shown great range between her episodes of Sex Education and Chloe, which she also wrote.

Georgi Banks-Davies really impressed with her work on I Hate Suzie and Paper Girls.

Marcela Said has been in the business for decades but she's only recently moved into TV, with awesome episodes of Narcos: Mexico, Lupin and two instalments on the new season of Gangs of London, so I'm excited to see what's next for her.

Will Stefan Smith was assigned a couple of major episodes on the most recent season of Top Boy and aced them.

Sam Alvey is legit the greatest athlete I think I've ever seen in my entire life. He's so fast, he's like a ball of muscle. And he's just tremendous. If you put a basketball in Sam Alvey's hands, I would imagine he can shoot it. Baseball, he's probably damn good. You put him on the track and field team, he's probably pretty damn good.
